The butterfly upon the flower
As I sat upon my chair Swinging my ankles Like I’d do in turquoise waves A corner of my eye glanced to something fluttering in A certain butterfly creature Came flying in Flew out in seconds Away out the window Tick tock a little while later In came the creature again Tap tap From the pane to the drape Up and down Flittered and danced around A little while longer It stayed Heaven whispered to me Here’s a window Do you see my dear? Take a breath and rest My free soul Treat you tender like gold Strong as titanium It will be, it will be In time you will see
