The Calling - Part 2
Just when she was about to choose
Life was sucked out
Somewhere believing, sometimes dimly, that protection was present
People and work manifested
Swaying between dark and light
Trying to stay still
While some called her a prisoner
There came a day
Her breath could hold no longer
Little by little
Coughing worse every day
No sleep, turning side to side
Finally
With 8 weeks of rest, so fragile
No strength to walk, skinnier than your jeans
More pale everyday
Lying there in peace, the forest surrounding
I began to breathe easier
No, one can never forget the help received in all its enormity
From everyone around
Gradually returning to some health
Traveling beyond the border
I saw life
I saw happiness
I saw abundance
Thus began the journey to shift mine
One day at a time
One book, one page
One video
Day after day
Then a call that steered destiny
The rest isn’t history
Every day stepping into my abundance
Fulfillment lets freedom ride with gratitude
