Whispering truth

Look into the mirror

It’s nobody but you 

Look into your soul 

Caress the silhouette of your inner self 

And step closer 

See yourself as you are 

No guilt, no shame 

You train yourself gently

Towards acceptance and awareness

Knowing you aren't perfect 

You realise you behaved unbearably 

Or obnoxiously 

Without beating yourself,

In compassion remind yourself 

Your true nature 

That of infinite love

And whence you gather some courage 

You go upto that wonderful human 

Who's been pure light to you 

And say - maybe sheepishly …. I'm sorry. 

Would you forgive me? 

That bright light that always shone from them

They welcome you with arms open wide 

A warm smile 

All the world around is perfect in its imperfection 

Calm takes over

Love abounds infinitely

All is sweet 

You are 

They are
