Imagine Dragons Concert - A mercury experience!

What a show!

Beyond entertainment. 

The ramp was fascinatingly long. I had never seen anything like it. 

It was fantastic to see Daniel Reynolds using the entire space, in all its enormity, coming back to the band, taking them ahead, giving them space to shine, communicating with his band and his audience, reaching through to the soul at the edge of the corners of the stadium - just absolutely sublime! 

So beautiful to see such a high degree of humanism and group harmony. 

So united! 

I LOVED his outfit. Might have been really hot and inconvenient in those trousers! He dressed simple yet elegant, keeping Polish culture in hindsight and being in Europe I suppose. 

So glad this experience was in my destiny. 

I got to know in March ’23 that they’d be playing in Warsaw on my birthday. 

I looked at the tickets and they were expensive on every site. I decided to forget about it. 

Closer to the date I thought, maybe if the ticket rates have been reduced and if there are any, let’s check it out. 

I was like a hawk looking at share prices. You normally want those to go up! ;) 

Concert ticket rates - you’d like those to come down, as low as possible. 

Talked to my colleagues, my brother, what’s rational? 

The rates did come down. Day 1, Day 2, Day 3  - is it worth it, Buying, Bought!

Remember I said the ramp was so long? 

I had no idea where to position myself on the pitch. I just knew my priorities straight!  -  I would like a good view and great sound quality. 

My steps led me to a place, apparently, that which was perfect for me.

Daniel Reynolds kept moving across, if I’d be right near the ramp, it would be alright but I wouldn’t see the big picture. 

But there I was, right in front of the screen 

I didn't need to worry about seeing the artist - He showed up right on the massive screen throughout.

Enjoy the music, dance, scream!! oh so scream and sing my heart out!

And how did I prepare for the concert? 

They sure have more songs than I knew. I knew it was the Mercury Tour. I looked up the setlist. Played their greatest hits 3-4 days before the concert. Listened to it on my morning runs. Birds, Sharks, Natural, Whatever it takes  - I had never heard of them. They became my instant favorites. I’m so glad I did that coz then I knew so many of the songs that were played at the concert.  Birds was on repeat. Coz it’s so calm. When the artist sang it  - I could feel this song, sing along and just be in all soul mode. In the melody. 

The Timing. 

I saw on my ticket that Imagine Dragons would start singing at 21:00. My place is on the pitch. I need a good view. What time do I need to be there so I’m not too early or not too late? I discussed it with my brother and he made so many jokes with me on it. 

Turned out that the time I reached there, it fit fine. From the metro station to the actual pitch in the stadium - there’s a long way to walk and I was happy to do so. A gorgeous summer day. Follow the signs and keep going. Found my spot, left it to get food and drink and freshen up, returned, ate my snack peacefully, wrote a post and it was time for the openers. Everyone’s gonna gather up, let’s go find a spot. I asked the security gentleman if I could go ahead in the front corner, and he politely nodded. Let’s do this. 

Oh, the celebration! 

It was my birthday. The day I started my journey on this earth in this life - I enjoy celebrating it. All I’ve received, experienced  - worth making this day special for me. Being summer - my closest friend was on holiday. My brother was a bit away but he was so present for me. He got me 15 degree and lower cycling bib for my birthday. 

At the concert, my priorities were good sound and a good view. Everything else would be a bonus! 

I got that and soo soo much more than I expected!! To truly enjoy dancing my heart out, balloons floating above, confetti showering over me, and fireworks at the end!! 

So grateful for the divine intervention that made this day truly special.

Although I didn't know how to get the best experience, I just surrendered constantly and received so much beyond. Every moment was and is a blessing. I couldn’t conceive such an experience even if I tried, for it was beyond human.

All I needed to do was live in the moment and believe in the good that’s coming for me in my divine right. And it does! I become a magnet for irresistible good that comes for me in perfect love, perfect health, perfect wealth, and perfect self-expression. I shall continue in this receiving from Divine source. There is so much more and it’s all good.
